A 20-year-old man has died following an alleged stabbing in Hobart.
Tasmania Police said officers were called to an altercation between two groups of people about midnight at the Morrison Street car park area near Salamanca.
Police said two men were stabbed during the fight.
A 20-year-old died from his injuries.
A 23-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they believe the altercation was linked to a previous incident involving a person from each group.
A 20-year-old person is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police are following several lines of enquiry to try to locate the other people involved.
