Amario Cozier-Duberry was the hero in stoppage time for the second game in a row as the Whites secured a big three points and extended their unbeaten run at the Toughsheet Stadium.
“A very disappointing goal from our point of view, when it comes so late and you can’t do anything about it. When something like that happens, it’s obviously a very disappointing day for us all,” Barry-Murphy said after the final whistle.
“I think Bolton are a team who are obviously going to be up the top of the table for a reason, a very good team.
“Very dangerous when they broke on us and we gave the ball away in certain areas. Large parts of our game were OK.
“We got towards the final third pretty easily and they paid us a lot of respect in terms of how they pressed us.
“But our final product in terms of creating and getting into shooting areas and opportunities was very poor.

“As such, when you don’t have enough attacking momentum, enough chances, you’re always in danger of a goal like we did today and that was the case.”
It was Cardiff’s first away defeat of the season. The Welsh club remain top of the table on goal difference but second-place Stevenage have a game in hand.
“When you concede a goal in the circumstances we did, it can feel very sickening and it does,” the head coach added.
“For me, the message to the players is you can use that as motivation to try and make sure it doesn’t happen again.
“Try and make our performance more dominant, create more chances and take the game away from the opponent who are still dangerous no matter what time is on the clock.
“If you give the ball away in certain areas against a team like this they break very quickly, as you saw with Cozier-Duberry.
“They’ve done that previously so we were aware of that strength, and we wanted to dominate the game with possession but create much more sustained periods in the final third and create more chances, which we didn’t.
“There will be no blame culture in that dressing room. We take responsibility for what happened to us and make it better in training and in future games.”
