Currently, the temperature is 26 degrees at the Mexico Grand Prix. However, we’ve just heard on Sky Sports that track temperature is a scorching 53 degrees.
The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is more than 2000 metres above sea level, so the reduced air density means engines can sometimes overheat.

Lando Norris has just been interviewed on Sky Sports admitting the hot weather can cause issues.
“Everyone’s worried about tyres,” he said.
Oscar Piastri has also been interviewed, although it’s very brief.
“We have eyes forward and see what we can learn and how we can unlock some pace,” Piastri said.
