Nicole Kidman takes ultimate ‘revenge’ as she takes to the runway for Vogue after split from husband Keith Urban

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

But Nicole Kidman, 58, turned up the heat following her split from husband Keith Urban, when she strutted the runway for Vogue World: Hollywood at the Paramount Pictures Studio lot in Los Angeles.

The Australian star looked simply dazzling, dressed in a sleeveless, black satin gown from Chanel, which was inspired by Hollywood legend Rita Hayworth in the 1946 film Gilda.

The gown featured black camellias and its show-stopping silhouette has been compared to the infamous “revenge” dress worn by Princess Diana in 1994 amid her divorce from Prince Charles.

The newly single Oscar winner also showed off her best moves as she danced to Put the Blame on Mame, the song Hayworth performed in the film.

On the runway, Kidman was directed by Baz Luhrmann, who directed her in the 2001 hit film, Moulin Rouge!.

The star made an entrance with a black-and-white clip of her on stage, surrounded by a number of male dancers.

Kidman had her strawberry blonde tresses loosely curled, and paired matte makeup with a red lipstick.

She finished the look with a diamond necklace for the show, along with a pair of pointed black heels.

Kidman’s catwalk moment comes amid her split from Urban following 19 years of marriage.

The actress and the country crooner have two children: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

It was revealed in September the pair had ended their marriage, with Kidman filing for divorce in their home state of Tennessee.

“The hardest part is navigating the dynamic with their daughters,” a source told Us Weekly last Friday.

“The last thing Nicole wanted was a broken family,” the insider added.

In the divorce documents, it was revealed Kidman will be the primary caregiver for their children.

The pair will also jointly make major decisions regarding their teens’ health and education. Neither will pay child support or spousal support to each other.

Both have a listed income which exceeds $100,000 per month.

Despite the divorce, both stars will still “provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the children”.

Kidman was previously married to Hollywood actor, Tom Cruise, with whom she adopted two children: Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30.
