There have been major delays across Dublin this evening after the Dart was suspended due to a “technical issue”.

The Dart service was earlier suspended between Dún Laoghaire and Bray due to a technical issue, however, it has now been reopened with delays, Irish Rail said.

While the Dart was also suspended between Connolly and Killbarack due to an operational issue. Northbound and southbound services through Killester are now resuming with delays

Separately, the Maynooth to Connolly service is stopped in Pelletstown due to a “tragic incident on the line”, the Irish Rail said in a statement.

Other currently suspended services include Maynooth, Sligo and M3 Parkway, as no trains are operating through Pelletstown.

Bus transfers are being arranged between Connolly and Maynooth for Sligo passengers.

The Sligo service will start from Maynooth.
