Prince William was reported to have met with his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, regarding their father, Prince Andrew.

According to People, no such meeting occurred.

Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, will soon move out of their longtime residence, the Royal Lodge.

Did Prince William use his cousins’ titles as leverage in the royal family’s ongoing rift with Prince Andrew? A new report from “The News Agents” podcast suggests that the Prince of Wales met with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie in order to push the former Duke of York out of his longtime home at the Royal Lodge.

“There was a question over whether there had been, earlier in the day, a meeting between Prince William and the princesses, Beatrice and Eugenie, saying, ‘You guys have to get your dad to move out of Royal Lodge, otherwise we will start re-examining the state of your own titles,'” said journalist Emily Maitlis.

“They are, at the moment, allowed to be princesses, but there was a bit of pressure, we understand, being put on the princesses to say, ‘You know, this is going to happen.’ Obviously, you can see why Andrew, as a father, would want to keep his daughters happy and keep their titles in place, come what may,” she continued.

According to People, however, no such meeting took place between William and the Princesses. Despite his eventual inheritance of the British throne, only a formal Act of Parliament could remove their royal titles.

Amid renewed interest in Andrew’s ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the Prince has given up his royal titles and has had his coat of arms removed from Windsor Castle—proof that the royal family is taking more drastic measures against Queen Elizabeth II’s second-oldest son.

According to The Telegraph, Andrew is potentially set to move to Frogmore Cottage—the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—while his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, could be headed to Adelaide Cottage, the current home of Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three kids. The Wales family of five is set to move from the four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage into the eight-bedroom Forest Lodge, also on the Windsor estate, by November 5.
