Jays can’t bring Lukes home in 5th

Giménez was first up for the Jays in the fifth and quickly became another Ohtani strikeout victim.

Kiner-Falefa hit a fly ball to left field, which Enrique Hernández fielded for the Dodgers’ second out of the inning.

Lukes got his shot next. He hit a ground-ball single to the outfield to put a man on with two out.

Guerrero came up and hit a liner to the outfield, which was caught by Pages.

That brought the top of the fifth to an end, with no new Blue Jays runs on the scoreboard.
