At least four drones were involved in the early-morning assault, which caused explosions in the city’s industrial zone, according to the Telegram channel Exilenova+. Videos posted by residents showed drones flying overhead, loud explosions, fires, and gunfire as air defenses attempted to shoot the drones down.

One of the targets was the Signal radio plant, a key electronics manufacturer in southern Russia. The factory produces digital broadcasting equipment, anti-corrosion systems, electric meters, and power panels.

It was also the first in Russia to mass-produce domestic safety shutoff devices in the 1990s. Locals reported that a production hall filled with finished products was hit.

The second and more strategically significant target was Stilsoft, a defense technology company deeply integrated into Russia’s military-industrial complex.

Stilsoft supplies Russia’s security forces, including the Defense Ministry, FSB, Interior Ministry, National Guard (Rosgvardiya), Federal Protection Service, and Roscosmos. The company is officially listed as a defense contractor whose products are accepted for use by these agencies.

Russia Trafficking African Girls to Build Drones

Russia has ‘solved’ the manpower shortages needed for its surge in UAV production by luring thousands of young black women and using them as slave labor.

It develops and manufactures advanced security systems, with key focus areas including:

Murom surveillance and thermal imaging systems, used for round-the-clock monitoring of border areas and military sites. Autonomous drone systems, perimeter protection solutions, access control, and video analytics for strategic infrastructure. Military-grade communications and energy systems, designed for use on remote bases and field operations.

Stilsoft also has licenses to design, make, and repair weapons, and its products are officially inspected and approved by the military.

The company builds Russian-made drones with local electronics that can work without a pilot. These drones are used for patrol and surveillance.

Stilsoft operates its own research center, test lab, training school, and testing range.

The full extent of the damage from Saturday’s strike has not been confirmed. Russian officials have yet to issue a detailed statement, and there were no immediate reports of injuries or casualties.
