Missing David Ayish (65) has been found after disappearing near the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai in Meron on October 23 – since then his family feared for his life and large forces of police and volunteers conducted searches. Rahamim, Ayish’s son who lives in a hostel in Kfar Saba, was injured on October 19 in an incident in Rafah where Lieutenant Colonel Yaniv Kola and Staff Sergeant Itai Yaabetz were killed. The son updated his father about the details of the injury and subsequent hospitalization, and the distressed father left the hostel the next day and traveled to pray at the tombs of the righteous in Meron.
