A former Donegal schoolteacher is due to be sentenced for a raft of historical sex offences.
Now in his 80s, he appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court this week facing 132 charges.
The man, who cannot be named at this juncture, is charged with offences of sexual assault and indecent assault related to incidents in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s in County Donegal.
There are 19 victims in the case, some of whom were present in Letterkenny courthouse for the brief hearing.
The man spoke only to affirm guilty pleas previously indicated at Letterkenny District Court.
A publication order, meaning that the accused man cannot be named to protect the anonymity of the victims, continues to be in place.
The defendant was represented by Mr Eugene Grant SC, with Ms Maddie Grant BL, instructed by solicitor Mr Patsy Gallagher.
Mr Grant told Judge John Aylmer that there were no reports required in the matter.
Judge Aylmer adjourned the case until November 13 and the accused man was remanded on continuing bail.
