Manchester United will return to pre-season action overnight when they meet West Ham.

United will take on their Premier League rivals in their first friendly in the United States ahead of their return to top-flight action next month. Ruben Amorim‘s squad have been working hard behind-the-scenes to prepare for the new campaign, having now travelled across the Atlantic on tour.

United will play the Hammers at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey which is also the home of the New York Jets – and New York Giants in the NFL. The stadium also recently hosted the showpiece of the revamped FIFA Club World Cup between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

United will have the chance to use new summer signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in front of fans in the United States. United will also face Bournemouth and Everton as part of their pre-season tour.

United’s clash against West Ham is scheduled to kick-off at 12am in the early hours of Sunday morning in the UK, which will be 7pm local time on Saturday evening at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Is Man Utd vs West Ham being shown live on TV?

Yes, fans in the UK can watch United’s clash against West Ham, provided they have a subscription to MUTV.

Live coverage is expected to get underway at 7pm on Saturday evening in the UK, which will be available on Sky channel 418 and Virgin Media channel 526. Alternatively, The Manchester Evening News will also be providing live match updates from United’s friendly match against the Hammers in the United States.

How to live stream Man Utd vs West Ham

Due to MUTV broadcasting the clash between United and West Ham, the fixture is also available to live stream. Fans can live stream the action from New Jersey by having a subscription to MUTV and downloading the mobile app.
