A woman has been attacked with a handheld electrical stun device and a metal bar in what police are calling a racially aggravated assault.

The woman, in her 50s, was attacked by a group of between four and five men aged in their 20s, on Waddens Brook Lane in Wolverhampton, on Monday at around 18:30 GMT.

West Midlands Police said the men were wearing dark clothing with their hoods up and at least one of them was described as white.

The force has not released the victim’s ethnicity.
