Sarah Ferguson has been keeping a low profile over recent weeks following her latest scandal surrounding her previous friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. While she is believed to have kept herself busy at the Royal Lodge mansion she lives in with her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, this is now no longer set to be the case.

This is because last night, it was announced that Andrew was to vacate Royal Lodge and move to a private property on King Charles’ Sandringham estate. Sarah, who has lived with her ex-husband since 2008, is not set to go with him. Instead, it is believed she will sort her own housing arrangements and will also leave Royal Lodge – the date of which is yet to be determined.

The former duchess, alongside Andrew, now also no longer has her courtesy royal title.

While Sarah, 66, has not publicly addressed this, her close friend claimed today that the former duchess is aware of her “huge mistakes”.

Speaking on Channel 5’s Vanessa talk show, Sarah’s friend Lizzie Cundy said: “Now she (Sarah) wants to draw the line and hopefully move on from this.

“She is very likeable, she did great work for charities. She’s lost all those charities now, she’s lost her titles.”

Lizzie continued: “She’s still a human being. She’s a good mother and grandmother. She’s made huge errors and huge mistakes, and no one knows that more than Sarah Ferguson today.”

It is believed Sarah also no longer wants to live with her ex-husband Andrew anymore.

The pair have both been entangled in scandals surrounding their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Just weeks ago it was reported that Sarah had emailed the sex offender in 2011 apologising for criticising him in a media interview.

This email, in which she called him her “supreme friend”, was sent after Epstein was released from prison for child sex offences. A spokesperson for the duchess said the email was only sent by Sarah as she feared she would be sued by Epstein for defamation.
