Dublin footballer Davy Byrne has reaffirmed his opposition to the GAA’s ongoing sponsorship links with Allianz and said it would be “disappointing” if the insurance giant is still the National League title sponsor next January.
The eight-time All-Ireland winner broached the issue at the launch of Dublin GAA’s new jersey but was speaking “100pc on a personal level”.
