Toronto Blue Jays fans have been a wild bunch in hopes of cheering the Toronto Blue Jays to a World Series championship.
The Blue Jays entered Game 6 on Friday night with a chance to end their lengthy World Series drought, and the fans at Rogers Centre have been every bit as crazy and loud as you would expect.
While the entire stadium has been chanting in support of the Jays for the entire game, one individual chose to take things a little further.
In the sixth inning with the Blue Jays up to bat, the game was delayed because a fan chose to sprint onto the field at Rogers Centre. The fan appeared to be carrying an American flag, but had it knocked out of his hands by security before unfurling it.
The fan was met with a mixture of cheers and boos from the crowd. He was able to juke the first security guard for a brief moment, before being taken to the ground shortly after.
The MLB fan code of conduct requires fans to behave respectfully and avoid disruptive or violent actions, such as using abusive language, interfering with the game, or throwing objects.
