The Interamerican Scout Conference has voted that Peru will host the next Interamerican Scout Conference in 2028, welcoming National Scout Organizations from across the Region.

The Peruvian National Scout Organization is deeply honoured to host this milestone event, viewing it as a unique opportunity to strengthen unity and shape the future of Scouting in the Region. Peru’s rich cultural heritage, warm hospitality, and strong commitment to the values of Scouting make it an inspiring setting for reflection, decision-making, and regional cooperation. The Conference will not only highlight Peru’s dedication to the Movement but also showcase the vibrant spirit, diversity, and resilience of its people.

With a solid organisational foundation, motivated volunteers, and broad community support, the Scouts of Peru are committed to delivering a high-quality and accessible event. To ensure financial sustainability, the organization has developed a cost-reduction and efficiency plan that includes a digital-first approach, optimized catering, and strategic scheduling. Partnerships with hotels, transport providers, and local businesses will help lower costs, while volunteer engagement and eco-conscious practices will enhance sustainability and community involvement.

Held every three years, the Interamerican Regional Scout Conference serves as the governing body of the Scout Movement in the Region. It offers National Scout Organizations the opportunity to define the strategic direction, policies, and priorities that guide Scouting’s growth and impact across the continent.a
