Foreign Minister Gideon Saar hosted German Foreign Minister Johann Wadpul, who is visiting the region, at his home. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which added that “the two held a comprehensive discussion on Gaza and the Trump plan, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen and also on issues in bilateral relations between the countries. Minister Saar emphasized in the conversation Hezbollah’s rearming and its serious implications for Israel’s security and Lebanon’s future. He clarified at the meeting that terror states have established themselves in recent decades in Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen. Their uprooting is required for stability and security in the region.”
