Broadcaster Matt Cooper has described his emotional reaction to the news that Ivan Yates failed to disclose that he had provided debate preparation for Fianna Fáil presidential candidate Jim Gavin.
Speaking exclusively to the Sunday Independent, after releasing a statement announcing the news that Yates would no longer feature on their Path to Power podcast, Cooper described his feelings upon picking up Saturday’s Irish Independent, which revealed that Yates had been secretly working with Fianna Fáil and Gavin.
