St Mirren have booked their place in the Premier Sports Cup final after hammering Motherwell 4-1 at Hampden.

Mika Mandron was on fire as he scored a brace to send Jens Berthel Askou’s side home hurting and book their place in the final against either Celtic or Rangers.

Many people believe that whoever wins today’s semi-final between Celtic and Rangers will go on to lift the Premier Sports Cup.

Mandron told The Herald, “When you go in a final, you are in it to win it. Whoever we play next, we are going there to win it, for sure.

“I don’t care who we play. It doesn’t matter at all. That is up there with the best games of my career, for sure.
