A local, qualified referee inspected the pitch at 10am this morning and deemed the majority of the surface to be in a playable condition.

There are some areas of the surface that are currently unplayable. However, with a few hours of work from the groundstaff, we believe those areas have the potential to be in a playable condition, providing there is minimal rainfall in that time.

Supporters should be aware that the water table at the Crown Oil Arena is currently very high, and any prolonged rainfall will put the match in serious doubt.

However, a match cannot be postponed based on a weather forecast alone, particularly if the surface is playable, despite our concerns about the incoming rainfall later tonight.

We will provide a further update as soon as possible after 2pm.
