On Monday, November 3, 2025, at approximately 1:51 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to reports of a break and enter in progress at a residence on Fairey Crescent in the City of Hamilton.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the occupants of the home. Investigation revealed that around 1:30 p.m., an elderly woman was home alone when two male suspects entered the residence through an unlocked back door.
The suspects assaulted the woman and proceeded to steal jewelry and other valuables from the residence. They then fled through the front door and were seen leaving in a dark blue or grey Chevrolet Cruze, which was believed to be driven by a third suspect.
The victim was not injured in the attack.Â
