It’s a huge day in the Beckham household as David’s dream has finally come true, and he’s been knighted!
The football ace met King Charles at Windsor Castle on Tuesday to be honoured for his services to sport and charity.
Photos show Sir Becks looking proud as punch as he chats with the British monarch and smiles in the moments after receiving his honour.

David was joined on the big day by his wife Victoria and his parents, Sandra and his dad Ted.
Victoria looked stylish as ever at Windsor Castle, wearing a fitted sleeveless dress that flowed to her ankles and cinched at the waist.

She styled her hair into a chic up-do and accessorised with stiletto heels and a sparkling bracelet.
According to the Daily Mail, Victoria, whose Netflix show recently dropped, gave him a very special gift to mark his investiture.

Fitting what with her being a fashion designer, Victoria is said to have designed David’s morning suit for the big day.
As well as it being Victoria’s first morning suit, it’s also the first time she has made clothes for David, with her only previously making men’s clothes for their son Cruz to wear at Paris Fashion Week.

‘David teases Victoria that she never makes him any clothes,’ a friend of the couple told the Mail. ‘So when they found out in the spring that David was going to get his big day at Windsor later in the year Victoria decided that she had enough time to make it happen…
‘Victoria got to work, designing the three-piece suit and, as she doesn’t do anything by halves, she threw herself into it and made sure it was absolutely perfect.’

Tuesday’s investiture is sure to be a special day for all of the Beckhams and although Becks has received an honour before, when he received his OBE in 2003, he did not take his parents.
Instead, David took his grandparents, Joe and Peggy, to the palace to witness the honour being bestowed as they loved the royal family.

After the ceremony, David is expected to have a small celebration with close friends and family.
His children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper are thought to be attending, although his eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola aren’t expected to be there amid an ongoing alleged fallout.
