Liverpool look to have finally found their feet again, with Arne Slot’s side producing an excellent performance en route to a 1-0 victory over Real Madrid in their Champions League league phase clash at Anfield this evening.
This was a game that Liverpool largely dominated, with only a goalkeeping masterclass from Thibaut Courtois keeping the visitors level for the first hour or so. The Belgian would make a number of excellent saves, although he would eventually be undone by a close range header from Alexis Mac Allister.

Real Madrid would attempt to increase the intensity of their play after that goal, although they created little in the way of scoring opportunities.
In the end, Liverpool would run out as reasonably comfortable 1-0 winners.

Fowler Had Great Line To Sum Up Conor Bradley Form In Liverpool Win
Much of the conversation in the buildup to this match was dominated by the welcome Trent Alexander-Arnold would receive upon his return to Anfield for this game.
The Englishman was not named in the starting XI for Real Madrid, although he would be booed during the warm-ups before the game. That was turned up a few notches when he was introduced in the final ten minutes of the contest.
Alexander-Arnold was loudly booed as he made his way onto the pitch, with that process being repeated every time he touched the ball.

However, it was the performance of another right back that caught the eye on the night.
Conor Bradley was absolutely superb throughout the game. Not only did he completely mark Vinicius Jr out of the game, but he was also a threat at the other end of the pitch.
Speaking on Amazon Prime, Robbie Fowler had a great line to sum up the display from the Tyrone man on the night.
Conor Bradley, I mean wow. He put in an unbelievable performance.
If Vinicius Jr gets to his bedroom tonight I will be amazed, because I think Conor Bradley might even stop him getting in there!
It just shows with Liverpool that the confidence is there.
The Brazilian grew increasingly frustrated with Bradley over the course of the game, at one stage being booked after hacking down the Northern Ireland player.
Fowler was not the only person to be impressed with the performance from the 22-year old defender.

Conor Bradley has had a mixed run of form to start the season, although he has been excellent in his last two games.
Considering Liverpool’s defensive issues in recent weeks, getting Bradley back to his best could go a long way towards fixing those problems.
