A co-accused is found not guilty of driving a car knowing it was stolen

A thumbprint on a disc found in the windscreen of a stolen car sufficed to convict Wayne Byrne (31) from Springfield House in Inch after a trial at Wexford Circuit Court.
However, the jury cleared the man intercepted driving the Opel Corsa at the centre of the case heard before Judge James McCourt.
