Guests were given a 2026 Presentation with a host of network talent in attendance, followed by tours of the Big Brother house and let loose on Dreamworld rides.

Tamara Simoneau, Vice President, Content, Paramount Australia said: “2026 is the year of new eras, reinvigorated favourites and returning comfort shows, and we are so excited for Australia to come along for the ride.”

Many of the new and returning shows had previously been announced, including The Traitors with Gretel Killeen as host, Rebecca Gibney in a new weeknight version of Millionaire Hot Seat, and David Genat as the new Australian Survivor host.

Amongst the new announcements are two observational series Sydney Harbour Cops plus The Animal Sanctuary filmed in Tasmania.

There are returning seasons of favourite reality shows including I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here (filming before Christmas), MasterChef Australia, The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity and entertainment shows including Have You Been Paying Attention?, The Cheap Seats, Sam Pang Tonight, Gogglebox and more.

In local Drama four part miniseries Imposter with Jackie Woodburne and Dannii Minogue will screen this December (local comedy Ghosts Australia is currently screening). Without Neighbours this does leave 10 without any confirmed Drama for 2026 -fast becoming the theme of Upfront season.

There’s no decision yet for Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen, the Inspired Unemployed, or two doggy-themed titles.

Below are the announcements with further comments from Tamara Simoneau to TV Tonight.

New:

Millionaire Hot Seat
Everyday Aussies will have the opportunity to win a lifechanging sum of money when Millionaire Hot Seat comes to 10, hosted by Rebecca Gibney. Testing their nerves and their general knowledge, each episode will see six contestants enter the arena, facing 15 challenging questions and earning them the opportunity to walk away with cash prizes ranging from $1,000 to a whopping $1,000,000! Rebecca Gibney said: “I’m not sure I’ll be the most composed game show host because, so far, there have been chair spins, lots of laughter, and more than a few tears! It’s such a privilege to be able to spend time getting to know everyday Aussies and to watch them win life changing amounts of money. It’s the most exhilarating, challenging, and extraordinary thing I’ve ever done”.
TS: “Rebecca’s loving it. She had a very, very small internship, I guess, as a game show host. But she just took to it really quickly. I think mostly. because she’s such a warm, genuine person……We’ve had some really big money wins already and she’s there crying with these people and jumping out of her seat and hugging them. So I think it’s a very different Millionaire than Australians have had before on TV, and we’re excited by that.”

Sydney Harbour Cops
With unprecedented access to the Sydney and NSW Water Police at Marine Area Command (MAC), Sydney Harbour Cops is a new series following the dedicated team of police officers navigating the iconic waters of the harbour city. From underwater searches to daring rescue missions, confronting offenders head-on to missing persons cases, this real-life drama series shines a spotlight on the brave officers risking their lives to protect our waters.

I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here
Kicking off the year once again, Robert Irwin and Lady Julia Morris return to the jungles of Africa with a new batch of celebs for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Keep your eyes peeled as we start rolling out clues as to who will be taking a first-class flight into a first-class fright when the series returns in January 2026. Robert Irwin said: “I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve got in store this season! Every year the trials get bigger, the stars get braver and the jungle gets wilder. It’s going to be an unforgettable ride. See you in the jungle!” Julia Morris said: “To get to present the show I love, alongside one of the biggest superstars in the world right now, is the purest of joys. Robert and I are beside ourselves to return to our spiritual showbiz home in South Africa for Season 12 of our beloved I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Get ready celebs, we are ready to tango! (Actually, I am not ready to tango).”

TS: “Robert Irwin is the most popular man in the world right now, and he, we assume he will win DWTS (US). I think the rest of the world probably assumes that he will win, and he will be on a plane straight to Africa from New York to get going on show. We’ll be all set up ready to go, basically just waiting for him to land so we can start shooting….The most important thing is the public and fans of the show will still get to vote for the winner once we get ourselves down to the top three. Throughout the game, there will be new, exciting and ridiculous challenges along the way for us to whittle our celebs down to three.”

Australian Survivor: Redemption
After successfully taking over the world, Australian Survivor returns in 2026 with a brand-new host, and a brand-new theme: Redemption. For the first time, each of the 24 players will enter with a personal mission – something to prove, or a regret to make right. They’re not just playing to win, they’re playing to rewrite the story of who they are. Third time players, Harry Hills, Simon Mee and Brooke Jowett, return for their shot at redemption, alongside Mark Warnock from 2024’s Titans V Rebels. These former players won’t be the only ones who have some game experience under their belt as Big Brother’s Johnson Ashak, and The Traitors New Zealand’s Cat Hooker try their hand at the world’s greatest game. They will be fighting alongside pro wrestler Jackson, MMA fighter Cameron, CEO Richard, AFL player Ben, acupuncturist Blanche, students Tez and Sally, chef Faith, fraud prevention specialist Keeley, truck driver Caleb, country musician Don, model Lyndl, stay-at-home mum Loz, vet nurse Paula, pastor Daniel, artist Lottie, NDIS support worker Aisha, and writer Eliza. Set to snuff the torches of castaways is a former player who is widely considered one of the greatest of all time, David ‘Golden God’ Genat. New host David Genat said: “Next year, a new era begins for Australian Survivor. I cannot wait for the challenge and am so honoured to be part of this brilliant new season.”
TS: “David has done an incredible job. I watched Episode One the other day and was we were thrilled with how it’s all come together. We’re really happy with the cast as well. There’s a great cast of characters who I think have come from all walks of life. Lots of age range. There’s a different take on the theme this year that viewers, I think, will get behind. For me, no one knows the game better than David. Nobody knows what playing Survivor feels like and how hard it genuinely is.”

The Traitors
From surviving on an island to surviving the night, the global smash-hit social deduction series The Traitors returns next year with the OG reality tv host Gretel Killeen in command. This season promises to be real devious, as faces from across Aussie reality TV will be going head-to-head in brutal banishments, hoping to sniff out the Traitors hiding amongst them. Stars from Real Housewives, Australian Idol, Australian Survivor, Love Island, MasterChef, Married at First Sight, Aussie Shore, Big Brother and more will be fighting for their lives, and fighting one another as they attempt to play the game that has captivated the world. Starring Australian Idol stars Ian “Dicko” Dickson and Cosima De Vito, Real Housewives’ Gamble Breaux (Melbourne) and Krissy Marsh (Sydney), comedian Rhys Nicholson, Drag Race icon Kween Kong, and Olympian and Sole Survivor Shane Gould alongside fellow Australian Survivor alums Kirby Bentley, Henry Nicholson and AJ Antonios. They will be joined by Bachelor icons Keira Maguire and Alex Nation, MAFS’ Cam Merchant, MasterChef Australia star Alvin Quah, Aussie Shore’s Manaaki Hoepo, Love Island stars Rachael Evren and Claudia Bonifazio, The Block twins Josh and Luke Packham, Big Brother icon Tully Smyth, Made In Bondi’s Lawson Mahoney, and musician Rob Farnham, the son of Aussie music legend, John Farnham. Gretel Killeen said: “Hosting The Traitors is a joyful milestone in my career. In the magical South Island of New Zealand, we’ve created a series that not only embraces the much-loved Traitors format but also adds a pinch of soap opera and a drizzle of pantomime to create a unique and delicious series.”
TS: “It’s a perfect time for us to do our own version again, and we’ve done something really different, and gone over to the hub and shot it with our New Zealand partners, South Pacific Pictures, who did a fantastic job. There’s this incredible old manor that sort of feels haunted in the middle of nowhere. You have to drive two and a half hours into the countryside to find it. Gretel just got so into it all. I don’t think she’s ever enjoyed herself more on television than she does in this show, and she’s really excited for everyone to see it.”

MasterChef Australia
This year we watched as Laura Sharrad finally made her dream come true as her name was etched into the MasterChef Australia trophy. Third time truly was the charm, and in 2026 we can’t wait to see the fresh faces joining judges Andy Allen, Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
TS: “Hordes and hordes of people still want to be in the MasterChef kitchen. There’s been a wealth of riches in terms of selecting cast andthe age range starts at 19. There’s some really cool, quite young people making beautiful things and wanting to be part of this iconic show.”

The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition
Having just wrapped up another brilliant season of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition, host Beau Ryan is already itching to top up those frequent flyer points. Beau will be heading back around the globe next year with more teams of celebs and their loved ones, each hoping to win $100,000 for their chosen charity.
TS: “We had lots of reach outs from celebs wanting to do it with their mum, their sister or their brother. It’s almost like we get spoiled because we can cherry-pick a little bit and find those good relationships to pair up together.”

Have You Been Paying Attention?
In 2026, 10 will continue to be the home of Australian TV comedy. The Logie-winning fave Have You Been Paying Attention? returns with host Tom Gleisner and his regular panel buds Sam Pang and Ed Kavalee.

Sam Pang Tonight
And if you’re anything like us and you can’t get enough of Sam Pang, don’t fret, as he’ll be back with even more Sam Pang Tonight. Big laughs, huge celebrity guests, and the occasional famous person being pushed into a Christmas tree. What more could you possibly ask for?

The Cheap Seats
Skewering the news and bringing you the stories that matter the most (if those stories are completely ridiculous), Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald return for another season of The Cheap Seats.

Taskmaster Australia
The LOLs continue next year when five brave comedians see if they’re up to the task in the next season of Taskmaster Australia. Anisa Nandaula, Brett Blake, Celia Pacquola, Joel Creasey and Rove McManus may know how to make audiences laugh, but how will they fare when put to the ultimate test set by Tom Gleeson and his lesser assistant, Tom Cashman?
