Two teenagers arrested for dealing cocaine at school

Two boys aged 17 and 18 have been arrested on suspicion of dealing drugs at their school in Nafpaktos in western Greece and face criminal charges.

According to state broadcaster ERT, the teenagers were arrested during a police operation following reports that drugs were being sold inside the premises of the high school during class hours. They were stopped and searched by officers outside the school premises after their movements raised suspicions.

The pair allegedly used the open entrance of an apartment building and a parked car across the street from the school to hide the drugs, making frequent trips back and forth to fulfill orders from fellow pupils.

Police said 14 small baggies containing a total of 6.6 grams of cocaine and 125 euros in cash were seized during the teenagers’ arrest. Their cellphones have also been confiscated as part of the ongoing investigation into who supplied the boys with the drugs and who they were selling to.
