Where were you last night? For London‘s next generation of Bright Young Things there is only one answer: Tatler’s Little Black Book party at Tramp.

Princes, Princesses, Lords and Ladies were ushered into the perennially chic Jermyn Street haunt alongside actors, footballers and artists by Tatler’s iconic Bystander men whose Regency-era regalia prompted whispers from envious revellers desperate to know what was unfolding inside.

Blenheim blue blood Lady Araminta Spencer-Churchill – hot off the plane from Paris – spoke excitedly of how she will soon return to the City of Lights for Le Bal des Débutantes, where she will wearing a gown by Armani Privé. She brushed shoulders (literally, on the stairs) with fellow December issue cover star and Team GB ski sensation Gabriel Gledhill, who earlier in the night was swapping stories with Seraphim von Hapsburg, a descendant of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, who had also jetted in for the occasion. Among the power pairings were society swans Lady Delphi Primrose and Lady Olympia Onslow, both dazzling in TASAKI jewellery, and Spice Girls scions Beau Bunton Jones and Bluebell Horner, offspring of Baby and Ginger, respectively. Elsewhere there were two princesses – Princess Andre (daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price) and Lady Princess Bright, who became the nation’s youngest mayor when she was appointed in Barking and Dagenham earlier this year – and real princes in France’s Pierre d’Orléans and Bhutanese royal Jigme Ugyen Wangchuck, who recently wrapped up his A-levels at Marlborough.

What else happened behind the velvet rope? You, dear reader, will have to wait for the full dispatch in the February issue. For those who didn’t make the cut: better luck next year!
