
Significant damage has been caused by a fire at a business in Farranfore Industrial Park.
Significant damage has been caused by a fire to a business based in Farranfore Business Park.
Fire crews rushed to the scene of the blaze in the early hours of Sunday morning and spent much of the morning tackling the fire which started around 4.30am.
The fire broke out at Diamant Linen – a company described as one of the biggest commercial linen laundries in Europe and which has a large number of employees
They serve the hospitality industry across Ireland and are based in 4 Park Business Centre, close to Farranfore village.
It is now yet known the full extent of the damage caused but there is significant damage to the warehouse unit including to the roof. The cause of the fire has yet to be established.
In a statement An Garda Siochána said they are attended the blaze this morning.
“Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending a fire at a business premises in Farranfore, this morning, Sunday, July 27,” they said.
No injuries have been reported.
