The AFLW All-Australian squad of 42 has been confirmed, with all 18 clubs managing to have at least one player selected — and one in particular dominating.

Unsurprisingly, reigning premiers North Melbourne — undefeated since Round 1, 2024 — have a competition-most six players named in the squad.

Brisbane’s four players was next most, followed by Carlton, Fremantle, Geelong, Melbourne, Port Adelaide and Sydney, who each had three players selected.

If selected to the final team, North Melbourne’s Emma Kearney would make history with a ninth All-Australian nod, while Adelaide’s Ebony Marinoff and the Roos’ Jas Garner are in contention for their eighth blazers.

Seventeen squad members have a shot at making their maiden All-Australian team, while nine stars are looking to make it back-to-back gongs.

The final team of 21 will be announced at the W Awards on Monday, November 24.
