EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a serious multiple-vehicle collision in County Limerick this Friday afternoon.
It occurred around 2.15pm in the townland of Ballyanna – half way between Bruff and Kilmallock on the R512. It is understood that the road traffic collision involved three vehicles with one going into a ditch.

Emergency services – An Garda Siochana, firefighters from Kilmallock and Charleville, paramedics and an air ambulance – have all responded.Â
The extent of the injuries suffered by the occupants of the vehicles is not known at this time.
Motorists are advised to avoid the route where possible. There are long delays with many passengers on a bus to Kilfinane reportedly deciding to get out and walk.
An Garda Siochana have been contacted for comment.
