One person is now in custody following a report of a firearm sighting on Innes Road in Mairehau around 1:40pm.

Armed police were been called to Innes Road in Mairehau after a report of a firearm sighting this afternoon.
Armed police were seen around the BP service station, and several nearby streets have been cordoned off.
Other emergency services were called to the scene as a precautionary measure.
