Manchester United striker Benjamin Šeško is facing an anxious wait after suffering a knee problem during today’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur, GMS understands.
The 22-year-old came off the bench in the second half as United searched for a decisive goal, but his evening ended in frustration after he appeared to twist his knee during a challenge.
Šeško immediately signalled to the bench that something wasn’t right, clutching his knee before receiving treatment. With all substitutions already made, United were forced to see out the closing stages with ten men.

Sources have told GIVEMESPORT that Šeško felt pain in his knee following the incident, but early signs suggest that it may not be anything serious.
The Slovenian striker is due to undergo a scan tomorrow, with the results set to confirm the extent of the issue. Until then, Manchester United are remaining cautious.
The scare comes at a challenging moment for Šeško, who has been gradually adapting to life at Old Trafford since his summer move. He has shown flashes of his quality, combining strength, movement, and finishing ability, and had been looking to build momentum before this setback.
Ruben Amorim admitted after the match that Šeško’s condition was a concern but reiterated that there was no reason to panic at this stage.
“He felt something in his knee and didn’t feel comfortable continuing. We’ll have to wait for the scan to know more.”
Even so, sources have indicated to GMS that the first impressions within the camp are positive, with initial checks suggesting no major damage.
United will, however, wait for the full scan results before making any formal announcement. For now, Šeško remains upbeat and focused on recovery, with hopes high that this proves to be nothing more than a short-lived scare.
The Slovenia international joined the club from RB Leipzig in a deal worth around £74m including add-ons, and so far he has registered two goals in six starts in the Premier League, while he has also come on as a substitute in five other top-flight games this season.
