In yet another deadly violation of the “ceasefire” Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian civilian Sunday morning in a drone strike targeting Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the devastated and besieged Gaza Strip.

Medical sources at Nasser Hospital confirmed the arrival of the victim, who was struck by an Israeli drone in violation of the declared ceasefire.

In the early hours of dawn, Israeli forces carried out demolitions of residential buildings in eastern Gaza, accompanied by artillery shelling.

Furthermore, armored vehicles stationed near the eastern border of Gaza City opened heavy fire toward Shuja’iyya neighborhood.

Helicopters also fired toward the northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, while occupation forces detonated multiple residential buildings in the central region, leaving entire structures destroyed and triggering intense fear among civilians. Rescue teams continue searching for victims under the rubble.

In addition, Israeli artillery shells struck an area in the Al-Musaddar town near Deir Al-Balah city, in central Gaza.

On Saturday evening, two Palestinians were killed; a child from the Al-Astal family was killed in Khan Younis after an explosive device left behind by Israeli forces detonated, while a young man, Ahmad Nimir Nassar, was killed after an Israeli artillery shell struck near the Tel al-Akhdar area east of al-Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza.

These attacks reflect a pattern of escalating violations by Israeli forces, including drone strikes, demolitions, and indiscriminate shelling, despite the ceasefire agreement.

The destruction of homes and the killing of civilians—including children—underscore the urgent need for international accountability and protection for Gaza’s population.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement announced on October 11, with heavy gunfire reported east of Khan Younis and naval forces firing on areas near Gaza’s port and eastern Rafah.

Since the ceasefire took effect, the toll of Israeli violations has risen to:

242 Palestinians killed
614 wounded
522 bodies recovered from rubble
300 bodies returned by Israeli authorities, with only 89 identified so far

Meanwhile, the overall death toll from Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza since October 7 has reached:

The overall death toll from Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza has now reached more than 69,169, the majority of them women and children, with more than 170,000 injured.

Among the slain Palestinians are 20,000 children in addition to 463 deaths due to starvation, including 157 children. More than 33,000 women and girls have been killed by Israel since October 7, 2023.
