My Kitchen Rules tops entertainment but Big Brother’s return is second in its slot and lifts share for Network 10.

The return of Big Brother has launched for Network 10 landing second in its timeslot and relegating The Golden Bachelor into third.

My Kitchen Rules semi final still won its slot at a cool 1.01m viewers in National TV Audience, well clear of competitors.

Big Brother scored 774,000 for its very wet season launch back at Dreamworld, which is possibly only eclipsed by I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here as 2025 launches go for the network. It also topped 16-39 and 25-54 audiences.

Both outranked The Golden Bachelor at 708,000 for Nine then Spicks & Specks on 361,000.

Later 60 Minutes scored 619,000 which is low by its standards then Portrait Artist of the Year (553,000), The Girl Who Caught a Killer (549,000) and Ghosts Australia lifting to 492,000.

Seven won Sunday, but 10 did see a rise in share it has not enjoyed for some time.

Seven News was #1 at 1.34m.

Nine News drew 1.28m with a late edition at 442,000. Social Media Murders managed 189,000.

ABC News was 888,000 then The Forsytes (304,000) and Grand Designs Australia (192,000).

10 News was 289,000 for 10 then NCIS: Tony & Ziva (210,000) and a small rise for 10 News+ to 191,000.

SBS shows are TBA: SBS World News, JFK: One Day in America, The Castle: Rebuilding History, and Watergate High Crimes in the White House.
