Gardaí are working “collaboratively” with a number of state and community groups after a wave of arson, vandalism and anti-social behaviour has hit Dublin’s parks, playgrounds and public spaces over the last number of weeks.

In just September and October this year, four separate incidents severely damaged two city centre parks, a suburban playground and newly installed public toilets, leaving residents “devastated”.
