Mizrahi Tefahot Bank CEO, Moshe Lari, gave an open testimony at the Lahav 433 offices as part of the Histadrut corruption case. Lari’s testimony was provided following suspicions that Histadrut Chairman, Arnon Bar-David, acted to appoint Shavi Michaeli, head of the Histadrut Corporate Authority, as a director at Bank Yahav, which is controlled by Mizrahi Tefahot. According to suspicions, the person who worked behind the scenes to appoint him as a director was Ezra Gabai, owner of an insurance agency who is suspected of bribing Histadrut Chairman Bar-David.
