French President Emmanuel Macron announced that his country will establish a joint committee with the Palestinian Authority that will focus on “establishing a Palestinian state.” In a post published on X, Macron referred to Abbas as “my dear,” and added: “Together, we are preparing for the day after, when two states – Israel and Palestine – will live side by side in peace and security.”
