Preliminary results show the coalition of Iraq’s Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has won the parliamentary election, with a second tenure for the incumbent premier yet to be determined.
Sudani’s list, the Construction and Development, amassed more than 1.3 million votes out just over 12 million votes across Iraq, the electoral authority of OPEC’s second-largest producer announced on state TV.
