A Meath couple who built a house without planning permission have failed in their latest bid to prevent the demolition of the property after the Supreme Court rejected an application for a further appeal.
Chris and Rose Murray issued High Court proceedings against Meath County Council in 2022, seeking an injunction which would have halted the demolition of their home in Faughan Hill, Bohermeen. They had alleged there were procedural and substantive irregularities by the council.
