Coles has revealed that a treat that’s mega famous in the UK is hitting shelves next week. Percy Pigs and Colin the Caterpillar are beloved across Britain and exclusively sold at Marks and Spencer (M&S) stores across the four countries in the kingdom.
But Coles has confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle that they will be coming to our shores on Wednesday, November 19. Anna Croft, Coles‘ chief commercial officer, said it was an exciting collaboration that will no doubt be a huge hit with all the British expats in Australia.
“We’re excited to join forces with Marks & Spencer to welcome iconic favourites Percy Pig and Colin the Caterpillar down under the very first time,” she said.

“Marks & Spencer is renowned for outstanding quality, and we’re thrilled to bring a selection of their most- loved food products to Coles, giving millions of Australians the chance to enjoy the best of British right here at home.”
The lollies have been around in the UK for more than 30 years and it’ll be the first time that Percy Pigs and the gang will be available for sale in Australia.
Some people have smuggled them into Australia from the UK to give to their British mates who have missed them dearly, or to show Aussies how amazing they are.
But no more smuggling will be necessary, as you’ll just need to pop to your local Coles to grab a bag (or 10). They will be available in store and online.
Percy Pig was the first to be released back in 1992, but his gang quickly grew to include a few others.
Here is what will be available on Coles shelves next week for $6 each:
M&S Percy Pig Phizzy Pigtails
M&S Percy Pig Reversy Percy
M&S Colin the Caterpillar Fruit Gums
M&S Colin the Caterpillar Party Time
M&S Colin the Caterpillar Cola Gums
M&S Colin the Caterpillar Cherry Gums
Select Coles supermarkets will also be stocking M&S’ classic Scottish Shortbread varieties, along with Luxury Gold Tea Bags, and The Original Very Moreish Munch Tin, which is expected to sell over a million tins in the UK in the lead up to Christmas.
Mark Lemming, M&S managing director of international, said expanding into Australia is a major milestone for the brand.
