There is no place for a civilian broadcasting station in the IDF – this doesn’t exist in any democratic country in the world. Galei Tzahal does not serve as a voice and ear for soldiers and broadcasts political and divisive content that does not align with IDF values. Soldiers should serve in the IDF, not at a broadcasting station. I have carefully considered this issue from all aspects and after making my decision – there is no going back. All the attacks directed at me by politicians and stakeholders and the attempt to paint the decision with narrow political colors – will not help and will not change my decision,” he said.
