A man in his 20s has been arrested by gardai after €540,000 worth of ketamine was seized in Co Kildare.
Gardaí and Revenue officers seized the approximately 9kg of suspected ketamine at a residential premises as part of an intelligence-led operation.
This seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Newbridge Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Custom Service.

“One male, aged in his 20s, was arrested by gardaí and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Kildare,” a Garda spokesperson said.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
