The stabbing has left one person in life threatening condition. Police have not confirmed if the suspect and victim knew each other or the reason for the attack
Toronto police say a man was taken to hospital after a stabbing late Friday morning in the city’s downtown core.
Officers were called to George Hislop Park, near Isabella Street and Yonge Street, at around 10:40 a.m. for reports of a stabbing.
Police say a male victim was transported to hospital. Paramedics tell CP24 the man is believed to be in “serious life -threatening injuries.”

The suspect fled the area before officers arrived.
