Kerry Gardaí are investigating two separate incidents that took place in Killarney and Dingle.

Six days ago on Tuesday the 22nd of July, at around 11:15 am a tourist couple parked their rental car near Ross Castle at the bottom right corner of the car park, at the point closest to the building.

When they came back to the car- a grey Nissan Qashqai – some thirty minutes later they found the passenger window was smashed and a backpack was removed that contained a large sum of US dollars.

Gardaí are appealing to financial organisations who may have received a request to change a large sum of dollars recently to contact them.

Gardaí are also investigating an incident that occurred before 8 o’clock yesterday evening at Main Street, Dingle.

A woman was driving a white Hyundai Tucson when a male approached her vehicle and kicked her driver side panel.

The male, who was unknown to the woman, was wearing a white top.

He left the area afterwards.

Dingle Gardaí are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident and could provide further information to contact them at 066 9151522.
