A heroes’ welcome awaits the All-Ireland-winning Kerry team.

The team has left Rathmore after a quick stop to meet fans, they’re now on their way to Tralee and then will go to Killarney for the official homecomings.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the events and welcome back the team with Sam Maguire.

The newly crowned All-Ireland champions are due to arrive in Tralee at around 6:15pm; they’ll make their way down Boherbee and Castle Street, then on to Denny Street, in the open-top bus. They are due on the Denny Street stage 6.30pm.

The Kerry team will then travel to Killarney, where they are due to arrive around 9pm.

The players will travel from Fitzgerald Stadium via Lewis Road and College Street on an open-top bus, to a reception in the Glebe Car Park; they are due to arrive on stage there around 9.30pm.
