A woman and a boy were injured over the weekend when they were attacked by two off-leash dogs at a Lynn park, according to police.

On Saturday, officers responded to Flax Pond Park around 1:20 p.m. for a report that someone had been bitten by a dog, Lynn police said in an email Monday. At the scene, they found a 22-year-old woman and a 5-year-old boy who had been bitten by two off-leash dogs.

The two victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Officers were able to locate both dogs and their owners.
