Police are investigating a stabbing in downtown Hamilton Sunday morning that left one person in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers say the incident took place at the intersection of King and Emerald streets around 7:30 a.m.
Video on social media shows police tape surrounding a small plaza at the intersection.
Authorities say two people were involved in the incident. Upon arrival, investigators report the victim suffered a stab wound to the torso and was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives believe the stabbing was targeted.
