Purdy Shines in His Return

Making his return to the field, and doing so just miles from where he grew up, Purdy ran an efficient offense. He finished with 200 passing yards and three touchdowns, distributing the ball to all levels of the field. He finished with a 73.1 completion percentage and a 133.5 QB rate.

Purdy and Kittle Make 49ers History

Tight end George Kittle reached a major career milestone, hauling in the 50th receiving touchdown of his career as part of his two-touchdown performance. His connection with Purdy continues to be one of the league’s most reliable, and the pair made franchise history on Sunday. Their 23rd touchdown connection officially surpassed Steve Young and Brent Jones (22) for the most QB-to-TE touchdowns in 49ers history. Only Alex Smith and Vernon Davis remain ahead of them.
