Highland Park will be closed overnight for the remainder of the week as production on the sequel to “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” will take place.

Avenues 55 and 57 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for production, according to The Eastsider L.A. 

Brad Pitt is starring in the project, in which he reprises the character of Cliff Booth. Pitt won an Oscar for the role in 2020.

The movie will be directed by David Fincher. Tarantino wrote the script.

KNX News’ Emily Valdez got a look at the set, which takes place in the 1970s. She spoke with Kelly, a man who walked by to check out the set.

“It’s really cool and it’s amazing to see the incredible work that these designers do,” he said.

Joel, a resident, was also fascinated by the production and said he was not bothered by the closure.

“I do a lot of walking and biking myself, so I personally think it’s cool,” he said. “I do see how it could be an inconvenience for some people, though.”

Businesses that must close for filming are being reimbursed.
