One person is in custody after police found a deceased individual at a Kitchener home.
Waterloo regional police responded to a residence in the Highland Road West and Patricia Avenue area around 12:50 p.m. on Monday due to a reported disturbance.
When officers arrived, they found a body at the scene. One female was then taken into custody.
Further details on the deceased individual have not yet been released as the investigation continues, but police believe the two people knew each other.
Investigators continued to canvass the area through Monday afternoon to speak with witnesses.
